Certificates that never lapse

Number, issuer, dates and next survey, shown as expired, due in 30 or 90 days, or fine. Add the usual statutory, class, ISM, ISPS and insurance list in one click.

Time charter hire statements

Hire in advance, off-hire by the minute with fuel used, bunkers and commission, line by line. Final statement on redelivery, and the owner’s net beside it.

Voyage estimates and results

TCE per day and break-even freight from freight, fuel, port and canal costs. The completed voyage result is shown beside the estimate.

Noon reports and fuel checks

Position, distance, speed and fuel used and remaining. The system flags fuel remaining that does not follow from the last report.

Planned maintenance

Tasks due by calendar or running hours, work orders from tasks or defects, deferrals with a reason and date, and costs to the repair account.

Crew with sign-on checks

Ranks, passports and certificates with expiry dates. Expired documents are refused at sign-on, nobody is planned on two vessels, and reliefs are tracked.

Crew wages

Generated for the days on board, pro rata for part months, then approved and paid. Approved wages count against the crew budget.

Purchasing held to budget

Requisitions the raiser cannot approve, orders that cannot exceed them, receiving at order price, and a budget per vessel showing spent, on order and left.

What is vessel operations software?

Vessel operations software helps a ship owner or manager run the fleet: vessel particulars and certificates, charters and hire, voyages, planned maintenance, crew and wages, and purchasing against budget. Yaguar Vessel Operations keeps all of it in one system.

Does it track vessel and crew certificates?

Yes. Each certificate shows expired, due in 30 days, due in 90 days or fine, and certificates with no expiry date are flagged as missing. At sign-on, an expired required certificate or passport is refused, and one that expires before the planned sign-off gives a warning.

Can it prepare time charter hire statements?

Yes. Hire statements are prepared period by period: hire in advance, off-hire deducted by the minute with the fuel used, bunkers and commission, with every line shown. The final statement covers bunkers on redelivery and a refund of hire paid beyond redelivery. The charter party wording decides, so check each statement before it is issued.

Does it work out voyage estimates and TCE?

Yes. A voyage estimate takes freight less commission, minus fuel, port and canal costs, divided by the days, giving the time charter equivalent per day and the break-even freight. Completed voyages show the net result and TCE beside the estimate. It is a comparison tool, not a promise of what a voyage will earn.

Does planned maintenance work on running hours?

Yes. Tasks are due after a number of days or running hours, and running hours can only go up. Work orders come from due tasks or defects, deferring needs a reason and a date, and work costs go to the vessel’s repair account.

How does purchasing stay within budget?

Requisitions are raised against a budget account and cannot be approved by the person who raised them. A purchase order cannot exceed the requisition. Each vessel’s budget shows spent, on order and available, including approved crew wages, and flags when it goes over.

Does it connect to shipboard systems or file with flag or class?

No. Yaguar Vessel Operations records and calculates. It does not file with any flag state, class society or port authority, or connect to shipboard systems.

Is AI required?

No. AI is optional and off until an administrator switches it on. It can read vessel certificates, crew certificates and passports into the form, using Google Gemini free-tier models, and nothing is saved until a person checks it and presses save.
